A calmer Home

Home redesigned around what needs you, approvals right on the card, safer pairing, and a fix for a crash opening a conversation on Android.

Bridge 0.4.1 · Desktop Bridge 0.4.1 · Android 0.4.1 · iOS build 14

A new Home. The title tells you where things stand (“2 need you”, “3 working”, “All clear”). Cards are three lines: what the agent is doing, then branch, computer, diff and tests.

Allow or deny from Home. An approval that isn’t high risk gets Allow and Deny right on its card.

Done means unseen. Once you’ve opened a finished agent, it folds into “N idle” until its next turn.

Notices only when they matter. Offline computers get one line with Retry, and a plan limit shows up only past 70%, as a ring.

Spaces moved to the Hosts tab.

Safer pairing. The bridge refuses pairing after 5 failed attempts from an address, or 20 overall, in 10 minutes. See Security.

Android: opening an agent’s conversation no longer crashes, and the usage card in agent info no longer overlaps itself.

Start agents from your phone

Start agents from the phone, see your plan limits and the prompt cache, get alerts that matter, and chat with Pi, omp and OpenCode.

Bridge 0.4.0 · Desktop Bridge 0.4.0 · Android 0.4.0 · iOS build 13

Start an agent from the phone. Tap + on Home, pick an agent and a folder (recent and starred ones come first), and it starts in a new Herdr workspace or a fresh git worktree. Options that skip permission prompts are marked, and you confirm them.

Plan limits. Your 5-hour and weekly windows for Claude Code and Codex, with when each resets. Codex needs no setup. For Claude Code, run
droidtty-cli claude-status install
, which keeps your existing status line working.

Prompt cache countdown. The end of the chat shows how long the agent’s prompt cache stays warm, so you know when the next turn will pay full price for its context.

Alerts. Get a notification when an idle agent’s cache is about to go cold, when the computer runs out of memory or disk, or when a new bridge is out. Quiet hours deliver notifications without sound.

Quick replies. One-tap answers above an empty composer, set in
config.toml
.

Secret masking. API keys, tokens and passwords are masked in everything the bridge sends, including terminal mirrors and push notifications. It’s on by default.

Pi, omp and OpenCode chats. Their conversations now show like Claude Code’s and Codex’s. When a chat can’t be read, the app offers to install Herdr’s integration.

Steer or queue

While an agent works, steer it mid-turn or queue a message for when it's done.

Bridge 0.3.0 · Desktop Bridge 0.3.0 · Android 0.3.0 · iOS build 11

Steer. While an agent is working, Steer sends your message now. Claude Code and Codex take it in at their next step.

Queue. Or queue a message, and the bridge sends it when the turn ends. Queued messages stack above the composer, where you can edit them, send them now or remove them.

Messages typed into a running turn now show in the chat, marked “Steered mid-turn” or “Sent from the queue”.

The bridge won’t type a message into an open approval or question.

The iPhone app has a new launch screen with the neon ghost (build 12).

The why behind each diff, and Linux

Each block of a diff shows why the agent made it, and the bridge runs on Linux with a terminal UI.

Bridge 0.2.0 · Desktop Bridge 0.2.0 · Android 0.2.0 · iOS build 10

Why, on every diff. Each block an agent edited carries the reasoning it gave right before the edit, read from its session log.

Linux. The bridge ships for Linux on x64 and arm64, next to macOS.

droidtty-cli tui
. The desktop Bridge app in a terminal: the pairing QR code, paired devices, recent activity and the bridge log.

The desktop Bridge shows its version and brand logos for paired phones.

Android 0.1.3: asks for local network access, so Android 17 can reach the bridge over Wi-Fi.

The bridge starts without CA certificates instead of crashing (push notifications are off until there are some).

iPhone: short files and diffs stay at the top of their viewers.

Open your dev server's preview on the phone, and see every slash command and the session's real model and mode.

Bridge 0.1.1 · Android 0.1.1 · iOS build 9

Previews. The bridge finds the dev servers running in each workspace and serves them to the phone over its own pinned TLS connection, hot reload included.

Every slash command. The composer lists built-in commands, your custom commands, skills and plugin commands.

The real model and mode. The composer follows
/model
switches and Claude Code’s mode, and shows Codex’s approval preset.

Demo host on iPhone. Try the app without a computer: “Try the demo host” on the pairing screen.

Conversations refresh as soon as they change.

Android releases are signed with the Droidtty release key.
